An opportunity to spend a day mindfully in a beautiful environment with a community of like-minded people. During the day participants will be invited and guided to deepen their experience of different mindful practices that encourage us to pay attention, to become aware of breath, and to be in stillness and non-judging presence. Sitting and walking meditation and gentle awareness exercises will nurture our sense of interconnectedness and help to develop a path towards mindful living.

Anne has almost forty years’ experience of teaching, academic life and facilitating workshops in spirituality, creative writing and sacred poetry. She retired as a senior Lecturer in Religious Studies in St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, Dublin and has now developed and teaches a transformative path towards mindful living. Anne brings to this work many years of diverse training in spiritual development, voice, poetry by heart, sacred clowning, drama and meditation. She is the author of the academic study Sacred Play: Soul Journeys in Contemporary Irish Theatre (Carysfort Press 2004) and is also a published poet.
