St Brigid’s Information and Tracing Service will close permanently on 30th November 2021. The Management Committee of St Brigid’s Information and Tracing Service have made the decision not to apply for reaccreditation by the Adoption Authority in November 2021 and instead to close the service.
St Brigid’s Information and Tracing Service was set up in 2017 as an interim service pending the enactment of Information and Tracing legislation and the planned transfer of files to the appropriate state body.
St Brigid’s Information and Tracing Service are currently in discussions about the transfer of the records, files and applications for information and tracing. Information about the new service provider will be posted here on the conclusion of these discussions.
St Brigid’s Information and Tracing Service will continue to work with existing clients and will endeavour to provide a service to all clients on our current waiting list.
All new applicants who apply for a service after 30th November 2020, will have their names placed on a waiting list and this will be transferred along with the files and records once arrangements are finalised.
