On 11 October 2013 the sisters in the US celebrated the arrival of the first Holy Faiths sixty years ago. The founding community of seven was Athanasius Macken, Ambrose (Frances) Barett, Augusta, Cronan, Loyola, De Montfort (Anne) Lennon, Xavier Gaffney. Leaving Glasnevin 11 October, they travelled to Shannon airport via Limerick Junction, then flew to New York.
For company on the plane, they had the Kerry football team. They arrived in Los Angeles on 16th October in the late afternoon.
