Ecumenical Bible week runs from 1-4 June 2017: a great chance to update yourself on some wide-ranging topics.
At the Margaret Aylward Centre in Holy Faith Glasnevin you can hear from Frank Brown Tuesday 6 June from 7.30 to 9.00pm on Christianity A Beautiful Insanity. Great choice of title! Frank is a Parish Pastoral Worker in the greater Clondalkin area. Originally from Belfast but after more than 25 years is now considered an honorary Dub. He is married with 3 children and holds a MA in Religion and Education
On June 7 you can come back for a more sober sounding topic but highly topical for people of faith in Ireland. Brendan Gildea will address A Legal Analysis of Religion & Tolerance in the 21st Century. Brendan is a Roman Catholic, a practising barrister and married to an Anglican Reverend. He co-founded and runs the Irish Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship.
